Why it matters
The campaign presents AI pessimism as a mood to reject rather than a set of claims to test. That framing can flatten separate questions about labor displacement, social isolation, concentration of power, and catastrophic risk into a single choice between fear and optimism.
The soundtrack does not prove anything about Meta’s technology, and the contrast may be accidental or deliberately provocative. Either way, it shows why public-facing AI narratives deserve the same scrutiny as product claims: trust depends on whether the message acknowledges material tradeoffs, not only whether the imagery feels hopeful.
