This is more than a contest over individual candidates. It is an effort to shape which risks enter the legislative agenda, whose evidence lawmakers hear, and whether state or federal institutions set the rules. Voters need clear disclosure of funding relationships and specific policy commitments so that a debate about responsible innovation is not reduced to competing advertising budgets.
